Accessible to all levels of practitioners, this training is open to anyone wanting to learn about the science of pranayama and develop a personal practice.
Experience two transformative practices each day of the training.
Learn how to find a proper seat and positioning for practice.
Learn about the obstructions that get in the way of practice as well as those that deplete your life-force energy.
Learn how to regulate your energy and offload stress/karma.
Learn to fully mobilize your diaphragm so that you can maximizing your lung volume.
Learn the Respiratory Fundamentals of Pranayama.
Learn how to properly perform the 11 pranayama breathing patterns you’ll receive.
You’ll receive 7 months of pranayama practices.
You’ll learn how to structure a daily pranayama practice and tailor it to your specific needs.
Ask valuable questions pertaining to your curiosities around pranayama and personal practice.

The priority of a Teacher Training is to provide you with adequate knowledge, training and experience to safely and competently instruct group classes and 1:1 sessions.
The priority of a Student Training is to provide you with adequate knowledge on how to establish a daily personal practice, properly study, and manage your energy in a way that heals, awakens and transforms you.
Our pranayama student training is about learning how to use pranayama for the health, inner-peace and freedom of your own self.
Our pranayama teacher training is about learning how to use pranayama for the health, inner-peace and freedom of others.

The training will also be available online for those who can not travel and take the training in person.
This Training will take place in the timezone of Vancouver, BC. Canada (GMT-7).
This training will be streamed over zoom.
We use professional audio and camera equipment to ensure a highly interactive, user friendly experience.
Each day of the training is recorded and made available to each training participant at the end of the training day via email.
Registration fee for the training, whether online or in-person, is the same price.

Reading material is not required for this training, as we will be focusing on practice, personal refinement of your breathing and meditation.

Absolutely. In a Teacher Training, there’s only so much time we can dedicate to helping you refine your breathing and better understand the depths of a personal practice — considering the priority of a teacher training is to give you adequate skills to teach people and help them.
Developing efficiency and efficacy in your breathing is not something that really comes from a teacher training. Proper breath control comes from specialized instruction, methodology and lots of practice.
All in all, this training is designed to provide you with practical knowledge that keeps you safe and practicing in a way that elevates your health and consciousness.

Training Location
This training will take place at Yoga Grace, located in beautiful Qualicum Beach, BC, Canada.

We do not offer onsite accommodations, however, there are places to stay and campgrounds available in the area that are very well priced. We recommend checking out AirB&B and VRBO to see what is available.

You can arrive via plane to either Comox (YQQ) or Nanaimo (YCD) airport, or by ferry into Nanaimo if coming from the mainland or arriving into YVR.
Qualicum is about a 40 minute drive from Nanaimo
Qualicum Beach is about 50 minutes from Comox Airport.
