Self-care
Tending to your basic needs isn’t self-care and it isn’t self love.
You have to look after yourself. You have to start taking up space. You have to start making the time.
Dream journal in the morning. Vision meditate the life you want. Gratitude journal in the evening. Walk barefoot in the forest. Bathe naked in the sun. Swim naked in the river. Have cold shower to wake up and get rid of weakness. Accept he seasons. Walk in the rain and snow and love it. Study all the virtues. Set aside 60 minutes a day for personal development. Meditate every day. Cut out coffee, alcohol, weed and smoking of any kind. Sip tea and watch the wind blow through the leaves of the trees. Listen to the birds sing. Tend to your plants in your house; nurture them.
Great strides are made, when you do more for yourself, than just meeting your basic needs.
