There’s no point spending time trying to re-crack the code for lasting happiness. It’s already been done.

• By living through your morals
• By acting through your morals
• By seeing though your morals
• By listening through your morals
• By receiving through your morals
• By giving through your morals
• By communing through your morals

It’s just so simple and accessible and advisable. And if you practice it daily, the mental stability, the emotional calm, and the spiritual elevation will ensue, promising lasting happiness & prosperity in all of your relations.

Because here’s the thing, the pursuit of lasting happiness has been approached by all wisdom traditions for thousands of years. And the conclusions was this:

• Happiness wasn’t found in the plant medicine
• Happiness wasn’t found in the material goods
• Happiness wasn’t found in social associations
• Happiness wasn’t found in meditation, prayer, or breath

What did result though was:

• Experiences
• Recollections
• Interpretive premonitions
• Glimpses of moksa
• And conversations with the spiritual realm

But a lasting happiness that carried into the moments that mattered most — when in relation — was not found. And that’s where you fall apart: in personal & social relation.

Where lasting happiness was found, was in learning how to preserve your moral purity. Moral purity is a process of living by virtuous principles that bind you to your sacred, wholesome nature. Whereas the added element of purity arises when the wholeness of you, remains uncorrupted and uncompromised.

Because when you’re living through:

• Faith
• Kindness
• Gratitude
• Appreciation
• Surrender
• Optimism
• Honour
• Respect
• Play
• Patience
• Integrity
• Confession

They connect you to your highest state. So no point spending a lifetime trying to crack the code for lasting happiness. It’s been done. Let’s just trust the elders and carry the torch forth.
