What it means to Believe

breathwork

Sometimes we can become so consumed with our dreams or with overcoming an obstacle, that it’s all we think, talk, and pray about, proclaiming that we’re never going to be happy unless it comes to pass exactly the way we want it too.

But that leads to frustration. And if you’re not careful, possibly to resentment. When you sense that happening, you must to get back to that inner-palace of morality, where you can honestly say,

“Life I trust you. I believe you know what’s best for me. And life, listen, even if it doesn’t work out the way I want it too, I’m not going to be unhappy! I’m not going to let this ruin the rest of my day! I’m making a decision right now to be content right where you have me!”

• Life may have thrown you some curves, but you trust they were actually shortcuts and that you’re on time!
• All your dreams may not have come to pass just yet, but your faith knows they will come in due time.
• You may have received a bad medical report, but life has a miracle report coming your way.

[insert your name here], if you’re going to walk into a new beginning, you’re going to need a new perspective. Perhaps you’ve been too focussed on

• What you don’t have
• What you can’t do
• And what’s wrong in your life

Maybe every five minutes you’ve been telling LIFE what to do and how to do it, confiding that you’re not going to be happy unless it turns out exactly like you want it to. If so, let’s make a decision today to turn it all over to life. Because no matter how dark or gloomy it looks right now, if you can release the weight of those burdens and offload them to the One, you’ll rise higher and you’ll see the sun break forth and activate a new dawn.

This is what it means to believe.
